Västanhede is Looking for a Controller
Västanhede is seeking a Controller for the group's Control & Training group within operations and contract compliance.
About the Role
We are looking for an analytical and meticulous Controller on a project basis, with the possibility of permanent employment, who wants to help develop our work in quality, follow-up, and regulatory compliance. The Control & Training group is in an expansive development phase where both tasks and working methods are continuously shaped and improved. In this role, you will play an important part in creating structure, ensuring quality, and contributing to our processes complying with laws, contracts, and internal guidelines. Travel may be required for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Ensure that the organization's routines and processes meet internal and external requirements regarding all our transports.
- Follow-up: Monitor the organization's performance concerning our execution towards clients and identify areas for improvement.
- Deviation Management: Analyze and manage deviations, and propose actions.
- Driving and Rest Times: Ensure compliance with regulations regarding driving and rest times.
- Training: Support and coordinate training initiatives for drivers and operations managers regarding our transports.
- Contract Compliance: Act as a support function to the contract manager by providing relevant documentation and contributing to ensuring contract compliance.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing and compiling reports for the contract manager and management.
- System Management and Development: Work with our operational IT systems and contribute to development and improvement work related to these.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
- Is used to working both independently and in teams
- Has good analytical skills and can easily see details and connections
- Is driven, structured, solution-oriented, and curious
- Has high integrity, is unpretentious, and maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Communicates clearly and professionally, with a good ability to express themselves in Swedish both verbally and in writing
- Is flexible and thrives in a developing organization
- Has experience with similar tasks within a transport company
Requirements
- Very good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite
- Experience in administrative work
- Good ability to express oneself formally in speech and writing
- Good ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically
- At least completed upper secondary education
- Experience with similar tasks within the transport industry
- Driving license B
Meritorious
- Experience working in traffic planning systems
- Experience from public transport or the transport industry
- Knowledge of driving and rest time regulations, working hours act, and road work time regulations
- Knowledge of YKB training, extra plus if you are a trainer
- Experience in schedule planning and deviation management
- Experience in payroll administration as we handle monthly reporting, as well as issues regarding worked hours, laws, and regulations regarding working hours.
- Experience in statistical work or reporting to contract customers
